Celebrating the Class of 2025: Greene County Habitat for Humanity Scholarship Recipients

At Greene County Habitat for Humanity, we believe in building not just homes—but brighter futures. This year, we are thrilled to honor five remarkable students from Habitat families who have graduated from Greene County High School and are preparing to take their next steps in education, leadership, and service. Each of these students has been awarded a $1,000 Habitat Scholarship to support their journey.

Meet the 2025 scholarship recipients:

Alivia Jones – Alivia is a proud 2025 graduate of Greene County High School and will be attending ESP in Athens, GA throughout the year. She is the daughter of Habitat homeowner Dionna Parks, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this milestone with her and her family.

India Jones – India plans to pursue a business degree with a concentration in marketing at Georgia State University to support her ambitions in real estate. She grew up in a Habitat home with her mother, Sabrina Salters, and has shown incredible strength and resilience since her mother’s passing.

Carmen Miller – Carmen will be heading to Tuskegee University this fall to begin the next chapter of her journey. As the daughter of Habitat homeowner Rashea Carmichael, she has earned a $1,000 Habitat Scholarship for her outstanding efforts.

Jada Stonum – Jada will be attending Georgia Southern University to continue her academic path. The daughter of Habitat homeowner Avis Stonum, she has been awarded a Habitat Scholarship to support her studies and future goals.

MaRyah West – MaRyah is an honor graduate who will be attending Kennesaw State University to pursue a career in nursing. She is the daughter of Habitat homeowner Valencia Parks, and her heart for helping others is truly inspiring.

We are proud to walk alongside these amazing students as they begin their next chapter. At Greene County Habitat for Humanity, we celebrate not only the homes we help build – but the lives we help uplift. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
